DISABLED STUDENTS' NETWORK

The St Andrews Disabled Students' Network is a subcommittee of the St Andrews Students' Association Equal Opportunities Committee. We aim to represent disabled students, signpost support and resources, and run events promoting understanding of disability and building a supportive community for disabled students.

Get involved

There are lots of ways to get involved with the Disabled Students' Network, the work we do, and the activities we run.

Throughout the semester we will be running social events for disabled students, as well as other events focused around disability. Our events are open for any student to attend.

If you're looking for advice and support, or to join a supportive community of other disabled students, please feel free to join the Disabilities In St Andrews Facebook group. The group is open to any current or incoming student who has a disability.

Like all union subcommittees, our meetings are also open to any student to attend. If you have a project you'd like to work on with the Disabled Students' Network or something you'd like to raise, or you'd just like to learn about how the committee works then feel free to attend. To find out information about our meetings please email disabledstunet@st-andrews.ac.uk. For students interested in working with us, we also run a separate Facebook group which you are free to join to learn more.
